I liked how at the end of deathly hallows part 2 the malfoys walked away. I don’t think they were being cowardly, I think they were just putting everything they had done behind them and began to move forward. I just thought it was a great end to their story.

Granted there were things I wished we could have seen from the books, such as more Lucius and Narcissa interaction, them running through the battle calling out for Draco and the entire family sitting awkwardly in the Great Hall after the war was over. However, in terms of film!canon, I felt their ending was done very well. Them walking away from the battle, together as a family. It felt right, and considering the four other alternative endings they shot for them, I’m glad they picked the one closest to how their fate was in the books.
“Bill and Fleur’s cottage stood alone on a cliff overlooking the sea, its walls embedded with shells and whitewashed. It was a lonely and beautiful place. Wherever Harry went inside the tiny cottage or its garden, he could hear the constant ebb and flow of the sea, like the breathing of some great, slumbering creature.”
